Kaze’s Boreal Museum
Welcome my humble website. The initial motivation was to create some sort of museum of my computers. It was originally developed for the Gemini protocol (a lightweight alternative to the HTTP web). It served its purpose for a couple of years, until my Raspberry Pi hosting the capsule (the term for Gemini websites) died. The platform was great and super quick (I highly encourage the curious), it attracted very few visitors, and required time and care for maintenance. At this point, I decided to spend more time in writing, and less time on infrastructure. I ended up generating this site with Zola, and hosting it on Gitlab Pages.
I cannot predict how this iteration will evolve, nor if it will stay alive long. I, however, can guarantee you of one thing. Everything you will read on here, is 100% generated by natural intelligence, typographic errors included.
Because I do not write to please, I do not write for fame. I write for myself. I write to remember.
Thank you, and please, be my guest in these walls.
