Personnal History

The first Xbox! During this console generation, I was too young to have money to buy one, so I stayed with my first Playstation. But my best friend had one, and it was a modded one at that! We spent a lot of time finding games online, or renting games just to copy them over the hard drive. It’s the console that made me love Forza Motorsports, and games like Fable or GTA. Never played Halo however. I remember, during summer days, my room was so hot that it was unsuitable for sleepovers. So our solution were to pick a tent in the backyard. But we were nerds, we were gamers, a simple tent wouldn’t do it. So to improve our condition, we brought electricity into the tent, with a full CRT TV and the famous Xbox. We played all night long to games. It’s crazy to think that my mother never objected to this. Usually we were gaming during the night, and riding our bicycles during the day. I got introduced to the world of softmods with this console, with the likes of UnleashX dashboards and the famous XBMC (now named Kodi). Later one, I got several Xbox that I softmodded to play emulators and backups. I gave one to my uncle, got another one after that. The last one I got tragically died during a bios flash, sadly.
