Christmas is approaching fast, in fact in only 2-3 days, and I’m still here writing my christmas songs. Truth be told, I haven’t felt that “Christmas magic” for a long time now sadly, and I’m not saying that these songs will help you achieve it either. Or maybe it will help, so let’s get singing!

In this list, you’ll find both English and French songs, because most of my holiday memories comes from what played at the radio.

Coldplay - Christmas Lights

Les Trois Accords - Noël est arrivé

This is becoming a new Quebec classic of the holidays. Les Trois Accords are known to perform more naive and funny songs but this one scores right into the frenzy and energy of Christmas in the eye of a kid.

Jan Thiel - SĂŒda

Not sure if this song was made by AI or not, because it only exists on Spotify and the artist associated with it seems non-existent. Probably not, because it seems to predate the AI age. However, there’s a mystery revolving around this song. Listen on Spotify

Sia - Snowman

Alexandra Stréliski - Silent Night

This one is a delightful rendition of an eternal classic, Silent Night on the piano by Alexandra Stréliski. What a delight to listen.

Tony Bennett - Snowfall (The Album)

This is a personal favourite of mine. Puts a little Jazz atmosphere into the holidays. Not just this song, but the entire album is worth your time.

Michael Bublé - Christmas (The Album)

What can I say, this is mandatory during the holidays.

Ginette Reno - Bonhomme Hiver

You can tell by the image in the video, or by the audio quality, this ain’t your new 2025 song! This one is also counted as a timeless classic.
